Ghana's Premier League is set to kick off in September 2026, with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) approving 14 venues for the upcoming season. The approved list includes the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale, Accra Sports Stadium, and the University of Ghana Sports Stadium. However, several clubs are still awaiting approval for their proposed home grounds, including Aduana FC's Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa and Young Apostles' Wenchi Sports Stadium. The GFA's venue clearance comes ahead of the new Premier League season, which is scheduled to begin between 4 and 7 September 2026. The 30-week campaign is expected to run until the weekend of 28-31 May 2027. The association has also confirmed that midweek dates will be used exclusively for outstanding fixtures, with the aim of maintaining a balanced and orderly competition schedule throughout the season.
