The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has made significant progress on the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, a flagship infrastructure project for Ghana football. According to President Simeon-Okraku, the GFA has finally secured the land after a prolonged period of litigation.
Land Dispute Resolved
President Simeon-Okraku said, "After a prolonged period of litigation over the land at the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence (GSCE), the GFA has finally secured the property." The GFA has fenced the entire GSCE land and constructed a new main entrance.
Infrastructure Development
The GFA is working with FIFA to equip the gymnasium, which has already been completed. A multipurpose tennis court has also been constructed, and a 40-bed accommodation facility, named the Qatar 2022 CourtYard, is being built. The accommodation facility is financed through FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 proceeds and GFA internally generated funds.

President Simeon-Okraku said, "I am pleased to report that steady progress continues to be made on the development of the Ghanaman Soccer Centre of Excellence, our flagship infrastructure project that will serve as a lasting legacy for Ghana football and a centre for talent development, technical education, and high-performance training."
