Levante forward Emmanuel Boateng has received his first senior call-up to the Ghana national team. The striker will join the Black Stars squad on 20 May ahead of a pair of international friendlies.
Ghana will face Japan in Yokohama on 30 May before travelling to Reykjavik to play Iceland on 7 June. The call-up provides new attacking options for a side currently third in their World Cup qualifying group with four points from three matches.
